According to reports, Juventus is prepared to make a cash and two first-team players bid to sign Arsenal center-back Gabriel Magalhaes this summer.

Gabriel has been a staple in the Arsenal backline for the past two seasons after moving to the club from Lille for €27 million in the summer of 2020. The 24-year-old played in 35 Premier League games in 2021–2022 and scored five goals during that time.

The Old Lady are currently looking for a trustworthy center-back after losing seasoned player Giorgio Chiellini to MLS team Los Angeles FC. Matthijs de Ligt is also anticipated to go, with links to Chelsea and Bayern Munich. In return for Gabriel, Juventus might offer the Gunners €30 million plus Adrien Rabiot and Arthur Melo on permanent contracts and loan deals, respectively, according to CalcioMercatoWeb.

The Serie A powerhouses intend to use Rabiot in negotiating a prospective transfer when his current contract expires the following year, according to the source. Because of Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, and his passion for Arthur, Juventus is optimistic that a contract can be reached with the north London team.

Gabriel's passing and goal-scoring skills are valued by the Turin club administration, according to an earlier report in Gazzetta dello Sport. Juve believes the defender needs to work on his reading and focus, though, in order to fit into Massimiliano Allegri's plans for the forthcoming year. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is also keeping an eye on the position of Lucas Torreira, an unpopular midfielder for Arsenal. Despite the interest in the Uruguayan, Leandro Paredes of Paris Saint-Germain remains the club's top priority this summer.

Fulham competing with Arsenal for Bernd Leno's services

The Evening Standard reports that Fulham and Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno are nearing a permanent agreement, with a reported cost of around £10 million.

The 30-year-old is anticipated to receive a three-year contract from the Cottagers along with a guaranteed starting spot for the upcoming campaign over Marek Rodak. Additionally, according to the article, Leno's contract at the Emirates Stadium is up this summer, and Arsenal is prepared to let him go. Leno, who was replaced by Aaron Ramsdale last term, played in just eight games in all competitions. He has played in 125 games for the north London club since moving there from Bayer Leverkusen for £22.5 million in 2018, recording 37 clean sheets.
