EDEN HAZARD might leave Real Madrid this summer following yet another underwhelming year.
Eden Hazard may be leaving Real Madrid this summer as Carlo Ancelotti looks to simplify his squad. According to reports, Los Blancos have put Hazard on their "for sale" list. The Belgian's time at the Bernabeu has been extremely disappointing for both him and the supporters, but given what he has demonstrated in the past, one or two major teams are bound to give it a shot. Express Sport examines four specifically.
Chelsea
Despite recently acquiring Raheem Sterling in a sensational transfer from Manchester City, the Blues are rumored to be interested in signing another winger before the summer is up. Raphinha's impending move to Barcelona, despite Leeds and Chelsea having reached a £55 million agreement almost two weeks ago, makes that much all but certain.
Given that Hazard dazzled during a seven-year stint that concluded with his move to Madrid in 2019, it would be an emotional homecoming for him and Chelsea. Given the severity of his troubles at the Bernabeu, it is questionable whether fans would be eager to reopen the chapter.

New York City
With Allan Saint-Maximin continuing to light up games amid Eddie Howe's new and improved crop of players, the Magpies already have star quality on one flank. There is a lot of talk about Newcastle signing a new attacker, but with Callum Wilson and Chris Wood already on staff, there is a good chance a winger might score the needed goals.
Due to his age and recent poor form, Hazard would probably be accessible for a low price, at least comparing to other players. The Toon would have more money to play with between now and the end of the summer even though wages might still be high.
Saint-Germain Paris
As they always are with every famous star that enters the market, the French team is among the favorites to sign Hazard if he becomes available this summer. With Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar already members of PSG, adding the 31-year-name old's to the mix would make the front line even more terrifying. Neymar is rumored to be leaving the club after Angel Di Maria.
Hazard, a native French speaker who spent seven years forging his reputation at Lille, may fill that gap. The winger's large salary, which could need to be reduced from his current Real Madrid contract, can also be paid for by PSG due to their strong financial position.

Dortmund Borussia
With his brother Thorgan preparing for his fourth season as a BVB player, a move to Dortmund could give Hazard some much-needed feel-good element. Although there haven't been many indications of a specific strategy this summer, there had been connections with the eldest of the Hazard brothers earlier in the year.
Even though Hazard has never played in Germany, with Madrid now willing to sell, everything could change now. Hazard may be nearing a point in his career where doing something drastic would be the best move.
