Arsenal eye Matviyenko Arsenal are focusing their efforts on signing Mykola Matviyenko as they prepare to lose out to Manchester United regarding Lisandro Martinez, reports the Daily Mail. The Gunners had been going head-to-head with the Red Devils to try and sign the Argentine defender from Ajax but have accepted defeat in that duel. Instead, the report claims Arsenal wil attempt to sign Matviyenko, 26, who - like Martinez, can play at centre-back or left-back.
Chelsea in talks to sign Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain
Chelsea are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Presnel Kimpembe, The Athletic understands. It is believed the French champions are open to sanctioning the 26-year-old’s sale if their valuation is met. So far, that has not happened but talks continue as Chelsea attempt to land a key target for the left centre-back position. Juventus are also keen on recruiting the France international and have themselves made contact with PSG. Kimpembe has risen through the ranks at PSG and has made 151 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side.
