As the Ajax defender gets ready to join Manchester United, Lisandro Martinez's pursuit by Arsenal appears to be coming to a stop. Martinez has been the subject of recent interest from the Gunners, but a deal to join his former manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford may be reached today.

Bernd Leno, the goalkeeper for Arsenal, is currently anticipated to leave Arsenal and sign with Fulham for £10 million. Leno has been given a three-year contract by the promoted Cottagers, but despite traveling with Arsenal on their US tour, Leno is still expected to leave.

Raheem Sterling has been signed by Chelsea, and Kalidou Koulibaly appears to be next. The shopping spree by Todd Boehly has officially begun, and today will see defender Koulibaly of Napoli undergo a medical with the Blues.

Japhet Tanganga, a defender for Tottenham, might go out on loan this season. While AC Milan was in the lead, Newcastle United is now interested in signing Tanganga for a loan with the option to buy, which could give Eddie Howe another versatile defensive option.

Ben Davies, a defender for Liverpool, appears to have no future at Anfield and may soon move away. The former Preston North End star is the subject of discussions over a Blackburn Rovers return to Lancashire.

Frank Lampard is now interested in signing Tino Anjorin, which means Everton is after yet another Chelsea star. There are several problems with this agreement because the offensive midfielder is desired on a permanent basis but the Blues just want to loan him out.

Barcelona eventually got their man after a protracted and drawn-out search after announcing a preliminary agreement for Leeds United winger Raphinha. Chelsea and Arsenal were also interested, but Barcelona emerged victorious.

For Huddersfield Town's Lewis O'Brien and Harry Toffolo, Nottingham Forest has made two bids totaling between £10 million and £12 million. Yet Forest might need to raise that offer given that Huddersfield values O'Brien at £12 million on his own.
