Levi Colwill set to leave Chelsea?

Levi Colwill is set to leave Chelsea, with the club deeming the player surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offload defender Levi Colwill this summer. The Chelsea academy graduate returned to the club after making 32 appearances in a loan spell with Huddersfield Town last season. However, with Chelsea set to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and talks ongoing for Presnel Kimpembe and Nathan Ake, Colwill could be heading out of the exit door at Stamford Bridge. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the centre-back is set to leave the club on a permanent deal this summer. With Chelsea trying to sign three new centre-backs this summer, Colwill looks to have been deemed surplus to requirements. Although he has represented the Blues at Under 18 and Under 23 levels, the 19-year-old will leave the club after failing to make an appearance for the senior side. Levi Colwill in 5 former Huddersfield players for Danny Schofield to re-sign

The Terriers promoted Schofield to the top job last week in response to Corberan stepping down from The John Smith’s Stadium helm out of the blue last Wednesday. His exit caught many by surprise, having led the west Yorkshire natives to the Championship play-off final. Huddersfield gave Corberan his break as a senior manager in 2020 when the former Leeds United youth boss replaced Danny Cowley. The 39-year-old went on to oversee 102 games across all competitions for 39 wins and 27 draws, with 127 goals scored to 131 conceded. The Terriers had finished the regular Championship term in third-place with a six point deficit to Bournemouth and the automatic promotion places. Now, Schofield will hope to go one better than Corberan and lead Huddersfield back to the top-flight. The 2022/23 season will be the club’s fourth Championship campaign since their relegation. So, which former Huddersfield players can he re-sign to help clinch promotion?
