Man United to complete deal of €20m-rated midfield star

Manchester United may soon offer Christian Eriksen a two-year contract for £150,000 per week.

For the 30-year-old forward, Man United will have to outbid Tottenham and Newcastle United during the summer transfer window.

After suffering a heart attack during Denmark's opening Euro 2020 match against Finland in 2017, Eriksen has made an incredible comeback to sport.

A few months later, Christian returned to training, but Serie A regulations prohibited him from playing in games while wearing an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.

The Danish international was given a path back to football by Brentford as his time with Inter Milan drew to an end, and he generously rewarded their trust.

With one goal and four assists in 11 games, the Danish attacker helped the Bees finish comfortably above the bottom-division zone.

But now that Eriksen is a free agent after his contract with Brentford expired, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Newcastle United are vying for his services.

Given that Erik ten Hag already has Bruno Fernandes at his disposal and that Frenkie de Jong is traveling from Barcelona, it is notable that the Red Devils are interested.

Christian, though, is capable of playing on the right wing and has done so when playing for Tottenham under Pochettino's leadership.

Manchester United is prepared to extend a two-year contract worth £150,000 a year to the Danish attacker as a result.
