Delegates could be questioning why Stephen Ntim is running for office a fifth time, according to pollster Ben Ehpson, given his position as National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He believes Mr. Ntim would undoubtedly prevail in the weekend elections if he effectively responds to the inquiry of why he is running for office a fifth time.
"Voters will inquire as to why Stephen Ntim so fervently desires to be chairman. He will have an easier time winning if he can respond to this issue, Mr. Ephson said to Johnnie Hughes on Thursday, July 14's New Day programme on TV3.
Mr. Ntim has meantime urged the delegates to choose him as the National Chairman on Saturday since doing so will give the party a presidency.
All you have to do is vote me as the party's national chairman on Saturday, and I swear to you that I will make whoever you select as the party's flagbearer for the 2024 elections the country's next president, he said.
I will just ask you to offer me a presidential candidate, and I will give you a President, he said, repeating what he had said earlier. Ntim would be the National Chairman.
He also urged his rivals to run a respectable and orderly campaign since it is the best way to promote harmony following the elections on Saturday. When several delegates and party leaders came to his campaign headquarters to express their unwavering support for his candidacy, he made these statements.
Among the candidates contending for the role of National Chairman, Mr. Ayesu Ntim strikes one as having the greatest experience.
According to political experts and election commentators, Stephen Ntim will win the election because to the support he has among delegates nationwide.
