Barcelona's Potential Line Up Next Season If They Sign Lewandowski, Azpilicueta & Alonso
As they prepare for the upcoming season, Barcelona is now overhauling their organization. After being eliminated by Frankfurt of Germany in the UEFA Europa League semifinals, the Catalans finished the previous campaign without a title.
Prior to the current transfer window closing, Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing at least five top-tier football players. After successfully acquiring Raphinha from premier league club Leeds United, I thus made the decision to post this essay to show how the team would line up under Xavi in the event that they were to acquire three other transfer targets.
A. Goalkeeper: Despite his subpar performances in the recently ended season, Ter Stegen will continue in the goalkeeping position for the upcoming campaign as Barcelona are allegedly not interested in bringing in a replacement this summer.
B. The defenders
1. Cesar Azpilicueta - Following the departure of Dani Alves earlier this summer, Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea this summer. Information received indicates that Chelsea is waiting for a £7 million bid from Barcelona before allowing its captain to depart the team this summer.
2. Alonso - Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing Alonso from Chelsea this summer because the player wants to leave the premier league.
Alonso's declaration to the club that he wants to take on a new challenge outside of England the next season may push Chelsea to trade the player this summer.
C. Franck Kessie, Gavi, and Pedri are the midfielders.
D. Attackers: If the Blues are able to sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich this summer, Ferran Torres, Lewandowski, and newly acquired Raphinha would constitute the team's attacking frontline for the upcoming year.
If Barcelona is successful in completing their team reconstruction this year, prominent players like Busquets, Gerard Pique, Ansu Fati, Aubameyang, Ousmane, and Memphis Depay might start off the bench next year.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum 'likes' post about Manchester United exit this summer
Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, the mother of Cristiano Ronaldo, liked an Instagram post that suggested her son may want to quit Manchester United.
Due to familial obligations, the superstar is not currently participating in the club's preseason tour. Ronaldo has informed his employers that he wants to leave. He has grown uneasy as a result of his pay cut, United's sluggish transfer activity, and their seeming lack of chances to win a trophy in the upcoming season.
By claiming that he had spoken to Ronaldo and that he was still very much in his plans, Erik ten Hag made an effort to cast doubt on the story on Monday. The club's position that the player is not for sale was reinforced by him.
The player's mother has since liked a Wednesday Instagram post that suggested Ronaldo does not see his future at United. The message reads, "Cristiano obviously wants out.
He told Ten Hag that he had no issues with him and that he was not convinced by the project. Ten Hag was unable to persuade Cristiano to remain.
Ronaldo finished the season as the club's leading scorer with 24 goals during his homecoming campaign. He has been linked with several European competitors during his farewell plea, including Chelsea, but Bayern Munich has already ruled themselves out of a potential transfer.
