TRUST HOSPITAL OPENS 30-BED PAEDIATRIC EXTENSION WARD

To give patients with high-quality treatment up until the very end of their care journey and to provide after-care services, The Trust Hospital Company Limited constructed a 30-bed paediatric extension ward.

The Trust Hospital Premium Centre is a three-in-one facility created to relieve the strain on the organization's three additional primary hospitals in Osu and five clinics dispersed around Accra.

 

 

The hospital, which is situated in the Ringway Estates in Osu, has semi-private, private, and general wards with two patients sharing a room.

 

 

 

The paediatric extension will include child health services, such as paediatric consultations and admissions and a child welfare clinic, along with a fully stocked boutique pharmacy.

 

 

 

Dialysis, chemotherapy, general practitioner and specialist consultations, cancer, nephrology, and urology are just a few of the general services provided.

Why a new building

 

 

Dr. Juliana Oyeh Ameh, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust Hospital Company Limited, stated at the opening ceremony in Accra yesterday[July 13, 2022] that the company had received a call from its Sakumono Clinic asking to refer a critically ill child to its Mother and Child Hospital some time ago.

 

 

 

She lamented the fact that the wards were full and that only structural work on the new facility had been finished at the time.
