EPL: Top Ten Biggest Spenders In The Ongoing Transfer Market

1. Manchester City — In the current transfer market, Manchester City is the team that has spent the most money. Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, and two other excellent players have all been signed by the citizens so far this summer.

Leeds United, who presently holds the second spot on the list with total expenses of roughly 105,640,000 euros, is closely followed by Manchester City.

According to information received, Leeds United's expenses this summer were primarily covered by the sales of Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips.

3. Mikel Arteta's men, Arsenal, who are hoping to capture the Premier League championship this year, are currently the third-biggest spenders during the current transfer window. Arsenal has added Marquinhos, Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, and one quality goalkeeper during the current transfer window.

Before the transfer window shuts, the Gunners are allegedly interested in either Lucas Paqueta or Tielemans from Leicester City.

4. Tottenham Hotspur - After paying Everton £52 million to transfer Richarlison, Tottenham Hotspur moved up to the fourth spot on the list.

5. Liverpool - This summer's high-profile transfer of Darwin Nunez from Benfica to Liverpool, which cost an estimated 85,800,000 euros, propelled the premier league powerhouse to the fifth spot on the list.

As a result of the acquisitions of Neco Williams, Moussa Niakhate, Omar Richards, Giulian Biancone, and Taiwo Awoniyi, Nottingham Forest, a newly promoted team, is presently listed as the 6th greatest spender during the current transfer window. For further information, see the image below.

De Bruyne admits sympathy for Raheem Sterling over lack of playing time

This season, Sterling has been in and out of the team and has expressed the possibility of moving abroad if he is unable to secure consistent playing time at the Etihad Stadium.

De Bruyne acknowledges that he can relate to Sterling's anger despite manager Pep Guardiola's claim that he cannot promise any player a spot.

De Bruyne stated at a press conference prior to the Champions League match with Club Brugge that "rotation is crucial because playing four leagues and generally going far in them, it's a tough ask sometimes."

"I can relate to your dissatisfaction because I'm a player and I know that some guys require more rhythm to get into it. Raz Sterling may be one of those individuals, but I know that I do as well. It can be challenging to play one game yes and one game no.

Naturally, the management must make decisions, and doing so is challenging. We have a group of 22, 23, great internationals. You'll frequently be in the right, whoever you choose. There isn't much a player cannot say when the team does well.

After falling to Paris Saint-Germain 2-0, City will look to get their Champions League campaign back on track in Belgium on Tuesday.

Guardiola's club is still one of the favorites to win the competition after making it to the championship game last year, but De Bruyne said he doesn't need the trophy to think his time at City, which has won nine domestic trophies, including three Premier League crowns, was a success.

He declared, "People will constantly put the bar higher and higher. "People expect us to win the Champions League based on what we've done in England over the past five or six years, and that's what we want to achieve.

"Although we never guarantee a victory, we always strive to compete. We constantly compete, but so far we haven't been successful in taking the victory.
