Cristiano Ronaldo breaks his silence following a new transfer blow as he trains away from Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United this summer, but he is having difficulty finding clubs willing to take him as he continues to train away from the squad.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United superstar, has returned to social media to show fans that he is still working as hard as ever to get in shape for the upcoming season.

The 37-year-old Portuguese forward has been training alone since being left out of the Red Devils squad that traveled to Thailand for the club's pre-season tour. His omission was attributed to 'family reasons,' and he may still join his teammates for the next leg in Australia, though this is becoming increasingly unlikely.

Ronaldo's refusal to travel to the Far East comes just days after he dropped a transfer bombshell by requesting to leave Old Trafford. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was dissatisfied with Manchester United's lack of activity during the summer transfer window and their failure to qualify for the Champions League last season.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, has not been slacking as he trains separately from the rest of the squad. The former Real Madrid and Juventus talisman shared his first Instagram or Twitter update in 12 days, a photo of himself pumping iron in the gym, with the caption: "HARD WORK."

The Sporting Lisbon academy graduate appeared ripped in the photo while performing a close-grip lat pulldown exercise. Ronaldo's latest social media activity comes just days after he was dealt another setback in his bid to leave Manchester United and build on his record-breaking Champions League legacy next season.

Chelsea had been considering a bid for Ronaldo as owner Todd Boelhy seeks another statement signing after signing Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, but the American tycoon decided not to pursue Ronaldo this summer.

The Blues are very far from the only club to pass up the opportunity to sign Ronaldo this summer; Bayern Munich turned down a move for the striker, who scored 24 goals in all competitions last season, and Paris Saint-Germain did the same.

Places for the huge star are operating out, and one of his last remaining options is said to be a move to Saudi Arabia, where he could earn an eye-watering £211 million. Regardless of Ronaldo's desire to leave, Erik ten Hag insists on keeping the player.

"He is not with us because of personal reasons," the new United manager stated earlier this week. "But we have plans with Cristiano for this season, so that's it, and I'm excited to work with him." I spoke with him before this problem arose. I had a great conversation with him, but that will remain between us. Cristiano, on the other hand, is not for sale.
