Chelsea has been linked with a summer move for Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, fueling speculation about the club's future.
Ronaldo wants to play in the Champions League next season, and with Manchester United set to compete in the Europa League, the Portugal legend is looking for a new challenge.
Thomas Tuchel has considered bringing Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge but has decided against it.
When asked if he would consider signing Ronaldo, Thomas Tuchel told Sky Sports: "I would not rule out signing another striker, but it's not our priority."
It's no secret that our defense is our top priority right now.
Following Marina Granovskaia's departure last month, the club's new American owner, Todd Boehly, has taken on the role of acting sporting director.
Boehly wants to make a big signing to announce their new ownership, and he's open to signing Ronaldo, but Thomas Tuchel isn't interested.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed reports about Ronaldo and stated that Tuchel is opposed to the move.

According to former Aston Villa captain Gabriel Agbonlahor, Chelsea need to sign a striker and another winger, and both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech will be sold. Chelsea signed Raheem Sterling from Manchester City on Wednesday, but Agbonlahor believes Thomas Tuchel still needs to strengthen his squad.
Sterling joined the Blues for around £47.5 million. He is the first major signing under Todd Boehly's ownership.
Following a disappointing season in west London, Chelsea allowed club-record signing Romelu Lukaku to return to Inter Milan on loan earlier this summer. However, they have yet to bring in a known striker replacement.
Agbonlahor believes Thomas Tuchel must make that a priority in the remaining window. However, he believes that another winger should be signed in addition to moving Pulisic and Ziyech, who he believes are "not good enough."

But they do require a striker, don't they? Look at Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Liverpool; they all have top strikers now.
Chelsea must fill that vacancy. Raphinha was being pursued by another winger. He put them on hold before deciding on Barcelona. Ziyech, Pulisic, not for me.
