Hello there, buddy? Thank you for your time, and welcome back to today's updates where we'll be looking at the anticipated Arsenal lineup for the upcoming 2022/2023 European season.
As of right now, the Gunners have signed four players: goalkeeper Matt Turner, midfielder Fabio Vieira, striker Gabriel Jesus, and forward Marquinhos. They are also interested in Oleksandar Zinchenko, a left back for Manchester City who is apparently on the club's list of potential exits.
Now that these modifications have taken effect, let's examine the potential starting lineup for the Gunners in the upcoming campaign;
GOALKEEPER
Here, Aaron Ramsdale, Bernd Leno and new signing Matt Turner will be battling with each other in an attempt to be Arsenal's first choice goalkeeper. When we look keenly on the performance and statistics of each of these goalkeepers, the conclusion is that Englishman Aaron Ramsdale is possibly in a good position to become the first priority in the goal post. He is therefore the predicted goalkeeper in this line up.
DEFENDERS
Arsenal have not signed any defender this summer and if they sign Oleksandar Zinchenko, he will be the first one and probably only signing in these position. If they sign him, then the possible defence could pair Benjamin White on the right center back, Gabriel Meghalhaes at the central center back and Oleksandar Zinchenko on the left back to finish the defence.
MIDFIELDERS
Fabio Vieira signed for Arsenal but it could possibly be hard for him to bench the likes of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka at the central midfield. The predicted midfield pair therefore pairs Partey and Xhaka at the central midfield as Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka starts on the left flank and right flank respectively to set up the midfield.
FORWARDS
The predicted forward comprises one attacking midfielder and two attackers. The attacking midfielder could possibly be Martin Odegaard and at the attack, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah could possibly start to set up the striking duo.
SUBSTITUTES
Bernd Leno
Rob Holding
Kieran Tierney
Takehiro Tomiyasu
Mohamed Elneny
Fabio Vieira
Emile Smith-Rowe
Nuno Tavares.
