Betting is a game which is being played by many Ghanaian young guys and even ladies. In this article, is a true life story which this young man by name Jonathan has been a victim and therefore share this to others to be more careful.
Jonathan, has lost Gh800.000 in gambling and this has serious injured him.
He said to be an elder in his church and a graduate from one popular university in Ghana and also a manager in one popular and big phone shop in Ghana here. According this young man Jonathan, he was introduced into sport betting by some colleagues who first gave him odd to stake and he was able to win, so that made him betting for more. Even though he did not plan for staking the bet but he was then addicted into the gambling more and he was taking people's many to stake the betting too. People started seeing him as scammer because of this bet.
Jonathan after his schooling he own himself a mobile money business which because of this gambling and losing huge money and also his business was Collapsed. He own two houses in Accra and a car and because of this he has to give his car to one of the people he borrowed many from and also sell one of his house to pay his dept.
Jonathan then said he was not afraid of all that loses because he married for good 10 years and was not having a child and one day God visited him with a child so he was believing that God will provide for him to be able to pay for those he was owing, but he again afraid to go to the jail. Yes the case is in court which he is still paying for those he owned. He added that some one was about to hung himself because of this gambling. But he never think of doing that so he is asking all those who are on bet to be on guide because there is a spirit in the betting that the more you win the more you lose all the money. He started staking with an amount of Gh150.000 and later loses Gh800.000.
