An worldwide training centre of excellence called the Aya Institute for Finance & Management was formally introduced on Thursday in Accra. The Aya Institute, which was created through a public-private cooperation between the German Development Cooperation and four business partners, is anticipated to help future and present employees of Ghana's financial industry develop their skills.

Financial inclusion is highlighted as a key facilitator of other socioeconomic goals in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, according to the United Nations Capital Development Fund. Due to a lack of or insufficient financial education, as well as the staff's incapacity to offer proper financial solutions and worthwhile services, many people and businesses frequently use financial services without making educated decisions. Having trouble are banks and other financial entities.

Finding employees who are properly competent and essential to the financial sector's long-term growth is a challenge for banks and other financial organisations.

For the financial industry in Ghana to become more effective and competitive in a difficult and changing market environment, it needs trained and specialised personnel. More digitally savvy, well-trained people is needed to support the financial services sector's sustained expansion in Ghana and to guarantee inclusiveness.

The Aya Institute's mission is to be a catalyst for learner development, moral and inspiring leadership, and socioeconomic transformation throughout Africa. The learning process of Aya's training courses is learner-centric, with the student taking an active role in the process rather than just receiving information.

The founding partners of Aya Institute have successfully offered training solutions to the major financial institutions throughout Africa.
