The fierce rivalry between United and Liverpool, the two most successful teams in English football history, has existed since before the Premier League was established.

The Red Devils have a record 20 league titles, but their bitter rivals are now just one behind them with 19, after to Jurgen Klopp's team's victory in 2020, which broke a 30-year title drought.

Man City, United's local rivals, have seen club success more lately, taking home six of the last eight league trophies in the last ten years.

Rashford has acknowledged that while he doesn't have many reasons to despise City, he does with Liverpool.

Rashford replied to Uninterrupted when asked which teams he despises: "Liverpool." City and Liverpool are not my favorites.

City is like you don't like them but you don't really have a huge reason not to like them, unlike Liverpool, who obviously have history and are thus a little more bitter.

You simply become used to seeing two Manchester teams, one of which wears light blue and the other red. But it feels much worse because of the rivalry with Liverpool.

He continued, "Their fans can steal the game away from you when you play at Anfield. They have the power to take it from you if you allow them.

"I almost got sent off right away in my first game at Anfield, but I'm not a malicious guy; I wouldn't want to damage someone on purpose," the player claimed.

In recent seasons, Liverpool has regularly defeated United, but Erik ten Hag, the new manager of the Red Devils, will try to turn that around.

However, the Dutch coach's team recently triumphed when they handed their opponents a 4-0 defeat in a preseason friendly last week.
