Chelsea have finished the signing of Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli on a four-year contract, the Premier League club said on Saturday.British media detailed Chelsea paid an expense in the locale of 32 million pounds ($38 million) for Koulibaly, who becomes the London side's second summer signing since the Todd Boehly-drove takeover after Raheem Sterling's appearance on Wednesday. "I'm exceptionally glad to be here with this group at Chelsea," Koulibaly said in a statement. "It's a major group on the planet and my fantasy was always to play in the Premier League.
"Chelsea started things out to get me in 2016 however we didn't make it. Presently when they came to me I acknowledged it because they really believed me should come to the Premier League to play for them."
Chelsea lost focus backs Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen prior in the close season, and Koulibaly's expansion will come as a boost for Thomas Tuchel's side as they hope to close the hole on Manchester City and Liverpool.Koulibaly showed up for Napoli in the wake of joining from Belgian club Genk in 2014, winning two trophies and establishing his place among some of the top defenders in Italy.

"According to our perspective, he's an ideal expansion to the gathering," Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel told the club's website.
"We have a strong player, a strong personality with enormous experience... I'm extremely content with him signing and joining our group."
Chelsea, who finished third last season, are as of now in the United States on a pre-season visit. They start off the new mission with an outing to Everton on August 6.
