A third club has turned down the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo's desire to quit Manchester United this summer was publicized at the beginning of the month, but his departure hasn't gone as planned because no team appears to be interested in the 37-year-old.
The striker reportedly wanted to leave the Manchester club because he wanted to play for a squad that could win the Champions League and because he wasn't happy with how United was handling transfers at the time.Since then, Man United has added Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen; could this result in the great Portuguese player staying? since it has coincided with the reality that no club, at least not the kind of teams Ronaldo wants to play for, appears to want him at this point in his career.
Bayern Munich is the most recent team to reiterate that it does not wish to acquire Ronaldo. Hasan Salihamidzic, the director of Bayern, recently said on Sport1: "I have a lot of admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, his accomplishments, and his career. Again, though: that was not and still is not a topic for us.Despite recent discussions between the club's new owner Todd Boehly and Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes to evaluate a prospective move, The Athletic stated that Chelsea had already ruled out the possibility of signing the superstar.
That was followed by Paris Saint-Germain, as per ESPN, Mendes made the Man United striker available to the French champions this summer, but the Ligue 1 club turned it down.
As of right now, Ronaldo, 37, appears to be marching back to Old Trafford with his tail between his legs, which puts him in a delicate predicament.

Transfer to Chelsea is ‘very close’ as club look towards Sporting for €45m replacement
Following the forced departures this summer, Chelsea is moving on with the task of rebuilding Thomas Tuchel's center defense.
Kalidou Koulibaly has already taken a flight to the US to meet up with his new Blues colleagues, and Presnel Kimpembe of PSG is rumored to be on his way.
Although it may seem weird, the transfer is discussed in Portuguese in Saturday's issue of O Jogo, and there's a very important reason for it.
The tabloid claims that Kimpembe's transfer to Chelsea is "extremely close" to being finalized, hence PSG is stepping up its efforts to find a replacement. The French team plans to "attack" Goncalo Inacio of Sporting.Although the defender has a €45 million release clause, it is made clear that he can go this summer for less. The source claims that PSG is putting up an offer for €30 million plus bonuses as they get ready for Kimpembe's "imminent exit" for Chelsea.
Inacio, who is 20 years old, played 45 games for the Lisbon club last season as a regular.
Although he has played for Portugal at several youth levels, he has yet to make his national team debut.
