1. Edward Mendy

Based on his exploits for Chelsea and the Senegal national team, Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is now regarded as the finest African player in the world.

In addition to helping Senegal win the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Mendy also aided Chelsea in their recent run to the semifinals of the Champions League.

Following his efforts during the just finished season, Mendy is a probable candidate for the FIFA best goalkeeper award for 2021–2022.

2. Hakimi

Hakimi, a defender for PSG, moved up to number two on the list as a result of his great Ligue 1 campaign with PSG, which just ended.

3. Sebastien Haller Haller, who made a successful champions league debut with Ajax, is currently ranked as the third best African footballer in the world.

Haller won two significant championships with Ajax last year, including the Eredivisie golden boot. His outstanding work for Ajax the previous year convinced Borussia Dortmund to hire him as Erling Haaland's replacement.

Despite playing defense, Hakimi helped PSG score more than 12 goals last year. The Moroccan fullback and Paris Saint-Germain both won the Ligue 1 championship in the most recent campaign.

Koulibaly Kalidou

Koulibaly is talented enough to play for the majority of teams in the world, therefore Napoli should be grateful that he has now played at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for eight seasons.

Silverware has been difficult to come by throughout that time, but Koulibaly has been Napoli's backline's anchor with consistently great play. With Senegal, with whom he won the Cup of Nations earlier this year, he is equally significant.

Koulibaly is an asset in possession due to his physical strength and ability to dominate in the air, as well as his passing range and ball-carrying skills.

Riyad Mahrez

Following his efforts for Manchester City in tournaments last season, Mahrez, who was unable to defend his AFCON championship, moved up to the fourth spot on the list

Sadio Mane

On the other hand, Sadio Mane, who last season lost to Real Madrid in the champions league final, is currently considered as the fifth best African player in the world. For further information, see the image below.
