Thousands of people packed Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena on Saturday to see Sadio Mane take the field as part of the record champions' official team presentation.
Mane looked stunning in his new No.17 Bayern Munich home shirt, having joined the club from Liverpool earlier this summer.
The 30-year-old forward, who was greeted with thunderous applause upon his arrival, later posed for official team photographs while participating in interviews, training drills, and a practice match.
Mane was joined by fellow new signings Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui as Bayern officially launched the 2022/23 season ahead of their summer tour in the United States.
Bayern will spend a week in the United States beginning on July 18, playing friendlies against DC United in Washington, DC (20 July) and Manchester City in Green Bay, Wisconsin (23 July), before returning to Germany on July 24.
Fan experiences, such as player meet-and-greets, are also on the agenda for the 10-time Bundesliga champions.
Mane and co. will return to Germany to compete for the season's first trophy, the Supercup, against DFB Cup winners RB Leipzig (30 August). A week later, they begin their Bundesliga title defense against UEFA Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt (5 August).
After new teammate Bouna Sarr, Mane will be the second Senegalese national to play competitively for Bayern. He is vying to become the Bundesliga's third African top scorer, following former Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (31 goals in 2016/17) and former Frankfurt cult hero Tony Yeboah (20 goals in 1992/93 and 18 goals in 1993/94).
The 2021 AFCON Africa Cup of Nations winner and Tournament Player is under contract with Bayern until the summer of 2025.

Barcelona has been very active in the transfer window this summer. Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, Christensen, and Kessie are already on board. They are still interested in signing Azpilicueta, Alonso, and Lewandowski. However, numerous players have left the club. Alves, Coutinho, Adama Traore, and Luuk de jong all left the club permanently, while Trincao and Lenglet were loaned out. The images below depict how Barcelona's summer signings could line up next season.
The first possible lineup for Barcelona in the 2022/23 season
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is the goalkeeper.
Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Ronald Araujo, and Andreas Christensen are the defenders.
Franck Kessie, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri are the midfielders.
Ousmane Dembele, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Raphinha are the forwards.
Aubameyang leads the attacking line in this 4-3-3 formation, with Raphinha and Ousmane Dembele providing support on both wings. If Barcelona signs Lewandowski, the Polish striker will have to share playing time with Aubameyang. Kessie, on the other hand, will play in the midfield alongside Frenkie de Jong and Pedri. Frenkie, who has yet to make a decision about his future, wants to stay at Barcelona and, if that happens, he will play a more advanced role in the midfield next season. Christensen will almost certainly start at center-back, possibly alongside Pique.
Barcelona's second possible lineup for the 2022/23 season
Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay, and Ousmane Dembele are the forwards.
Sergio Busquets, Pedri, and F. Kessie are the midfielders.
Andreas Christensen,Araujo, alaba and Dani Alves are the defenders.
Goal keeper: Ter Stegen
