Despite late interest from Barcelona, Chelsea are reportedly close to signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Kounde for some time. Their pursuit of the France international dates back to the previous summer transfer window.
The expectation was that they would complete the signing early in the summer transfer window, but the change in ownership brought new priorities.
