ACCORDING TO TUCHEL, AFTER KANTE AND LOFTUS-CHEEK MISSED

Last season, Kante missed 16 games as a result of an injury and many positive Covid tests.

Thomas Tuchel acknowledges that he could subsequently need to reconsider marking unvaccinated stars for Chelsea.

N'Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, both midfielders with the Blues, were unable to travel to the United States for the fourteen-day preseason visit due to their lack of Covid-19 vaccine.

The loss of Frenchman Kante, 31, is a massive setback as the new season gets off, especially because he missed a significant portion of the previous mission due to injury.

The two have been forced to remain at Cobham, where they are preparing with the Blues' Under-23 coaching team and engaging in individualized exercise routines to stay in shape.

Tuchel joked that he should have administered the player's vaccination himself after learning of his disappointment at not being able to coordinate Kante with the team in America.

In addition, German manager Tuchel said after being questioned about if thinking about vaccinations when trying to sign a player entered his mind: "In fact, it must.

"I had a couple players in mind who I would also take unvaccinated. I must state this.

"However, it does currently play a role in daily life.

"We cannot operate it. Choosing to get immunized is currently a very common decision. The two players decided against it.

"We want to follow the rules. They are unable to join us. They are accustomed to the outcomes.

"We didn't need it, really. Of course not. Although having them here is all we could possibly want, the situation is far from ideal.

"Not great by any means. However, in a situation like this, you want to come up with a solution.

They have their mentors there in this way. But it won't make things right. It won't be substantially similar to anything else.

Sterling and Koulibaly, two key summer acquisitions for Chelsea, have traveled to the United States this week to meet up with their new partners after receiving some pokes.

The World Cup champion Kante tested positive TWICE for Covid and missed 16 games of the previous season due to knee and crotch problems.

While accepting that this would be advantageous in Kante's actual course of events, she is not adamant about looking for the positives.

He continued, "For N'Golo, it's probably not even the worst thing to do. We can assign him a very specific burden. It was a rather unique load for him.

So maybe we can turn a drawback into a gain.

Since N'Golo will always be N'Golo, I don't think he specifically needs a lot of time to get used to our style of play.

Everyone recognizes him as a key player who must take part actively to win significant prizes.

Due to Ilkay Gundogan's immunization history, he was not included in Manchester City's 26-man roster for their preseason trip to the United States.

Due to US section requirements, Phil Foden and John Stones both miss up a significant opportunity, and Aymeric Laporte isn't fully healthy.

Due to unvaccinated stars, Gem Palace only sent ten senior players to Singapore for their preseason schedule.

A week from Monday, the Eagles will play Manchester United and Leeds in Australia, where restrictions on unvaccinated players have recently been eased.
