Kalidou Koulibaly has joined CHELSEA on a four-year deal with an extension option for £34 million from Napoli.
Kalidou Koulibaly's signing has already received the endorsement of Chelsea veteran John Terry, who seemed to present him his renowned No. 26 jersey. During the summer transfer window, the 31-year-old player transferred from Napoli to Stamford Bridge.
Following the announcement that a move was complete, Terry, a former Blues player, greeted Chelsea's new acquisition Koulibaly on social media.
Under numerous managers, including Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and Maurizio Sarri, the Senegal international had been one of Stamford Bridge's top objectives for a number of years. However, Thomas Tuchel is now in charge as Chelsea finally land their man.
The 31-year-old has agreed to a four-year deal with Napoli, with the potential for an additional season. As the defender approached the final year of his contract at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, the Serie A team ultimately made the decision to sell the defender.

In terms of leadership and mindset, as well as his defensive prowess, Koulibaly, who cost £34 million, appears to be a clear replacement for Antonio Rudiger, who joined Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer.
One Chelsea supporter in particular has caught the attention of media since the club announced the Senegalese star's arrival on Instagram. Terry was among the first to praise his former team on acquiring a star center-back in the comments section.
He also seemed to be making a reference to Koulibaly's No. 26 jersey from Napoli, which was also his at Chelsea.
Although Koulibaly hasn't been given a jersey number at Chelsea, it wouldn't be shocking if Terry gave him his old No. 26 jersey as that was also his at Naples. Although Rudiger's next season can potentially be in the open No. 2 that he wore.
The defender is Stamford Bridge's second acquisition of the summer after Raheem Sterling, who arrived from Manchester City earlier this week. The transfer window got off to a sluggish start, but the quick fire announcements have revived excitement in west London.
