Having gotten along well with the Nigerian wide receiver at Chelsea, ANTONIO CONTE might have a new Victor Moses at Tottenham.

Tottenham may have a second Victor Moses, according to Antonio Conte. Moses was transformed by the Spurs manager into a right-sided wing-back at Chelsea, where he was an almost constant presence as the Blues won the 2016–17 Premier League. Moses, a former forward, contributed three goals and three assists in the Premier League as Chelsea dominated.
Throughout his managerial career, Conte, who prefers the 3-4-3 formation or a related variation, has transformed several players into wingbacks. Another gainer is Croatian player Ivan Perisic, who joined Spurs this summer on a free transfer from Inter Milan with the intention of replacing their current left-side option.
In spite of the fact that he is going to add Djed Spence to his team and already has Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal who can play there, the Italian manager now thinks he has a new alternative at Spurs for the right side. In a friendly match against Sevilla on Saturday, Lucas was used as the right wingback and made effective passes to Richarlison in South Korea.
Regarding his plans, Conte explained: "After spoken with Lucas, I believe this will be a solid alternative for me, and I have converted Perisic in that position in the past. Moses was similar. Like [Antonio] Candreva, too. Before becoming a wing-back, he was a winger.

"He has wonderful qualities, no doubt, and I believe this would be a fantastic choice. The player must be absolutely certain that he will perform it, but he is accessible, and Lucas Moura is a tremendous resource for us because he can play a variety of roles. He is able to support the striker.as a wing-back, on the right, or on the left. I'm impressed with his dedication from what I've seen in the practice sessions, and I thought he did well tonight.
Given that Lucas is entering the final two years of his contract, it was rumored that he would leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. Richarlison has increased Spurs' options for attacking, and Conte may choose among Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, and Bryan Gil for his front three. Perisic is also capable of playing on the left wing further forward.
However, Conte might give Lucas a new lease on life as a wing-back, much like he previously did with Moses and Perisic. In contests where Spurs are winning, he will be a useful attack-minded option. However, if the Brazilian stays as currently anticipated, awful news is in store for his fellow Brazilian Royal.
