Regional Delegates at the NPP National Delegates Conference

At the Accra Sports stadium, the national delegates conference of the New Patriotic Party is currently taking place.

In order to run its operations for another four years, the party is looking to elect new national executives.

"Holding together, Working together" is the conference's theme.

Here is a list of the New Patriotic Party's regional delegates before the conference officially starts.

The Greater Accra Region has the second-highest number of delegates with 595, followed by the Ashanti Region with 816, and the Eastern Region with 578.

In addition, there are 50 founding members, 398 members of parliament, 28 ministers and deputy ministers, and municipal, metropolitan, and district chief executives.

In addition to the 291 delegates, TESCON, the party's student arm, also has 30 patron and council of elders representatives.

The party's new national executives will be chosen by a total of 6,146 delegates.

The voting process, which is anticipated to take six hours, will involve more than 6,000 delegates.

The court injunction prevents the 306 delegates, which are made up of 291 TESCON delegates and 21 proxy voters, from casting their votes.

With my Ghana card, I purchased kenkey, Peter Otokunor informs Bawumia.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been made fun of by the Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Otokunor.

The deputy NDC scribe claimed that he purchased kenkey with his Ghana card on his way to the New Patriotic Party's National Delegates Conference on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He informed the NPP supporters at the Conference that the kenkey was so pricey that it cost GHC5.00 while speaking in a brotherly capacity on behalf of the NDC.

It appears that Mr. Otokunor was alluding to the Vice President's comment that, in the country's pursuit of development, he preferred the Ghana card above road interchanges.

The national identity card, commonly known as the Ghana Card, is deemed to be more advantageous than the multiple interchanges built throughout the nation by the Chairman of the Economic Management Team.

After making this statement, the vice president faced harsh criticism.

His detractors interpret the statement to suggest that the Ghana card might be used for anything. Thus, Mr. Otokunor made the gesture.

The NPP government, according to Mr. Otokunor, has been insensitive to Ghanaians' suffering as a result of the country's current economic difficulties.
