I had no option than to take my life, I can’t stay and be a mockery of the students and the world as a whole.
I bought a sniper in a chemist shop one evening as i was now living with my friend Sarah who was the only person that stood by me in that ugly situations.
I mixed it well and was about drinking it when I heard a voice, “Debby!! Killing urself will never prove ur innocence, keep calm for the Lord will fight for u”the voice said and the solution fell from my hand and emptied on the floor.
Gosh! When will I prove my enemies wrong? When will they believe that I was raped?
I knelt down a prayed to God for forgiveness and asked Him to give a strong heart so that i can endure it.
I made up my mind to be strong and it worked, I was restricted from any worshiping gathering in the school but that doesn’t bothered me so long.
One afternoon after lecture, I became so ill and started having some pains at my waist, I went medical test with Sarah and the result was that I was pregnant.
I couldn’t believed it, I bought pregnant test strip and conducted another test in the house but it came out positive too.
Gosh! My world has come to an end, how can i cope with an unwanted pregnancy?
I made up my mind to ran away from that school because to any place people don’t know me.
Going to Abia state is not an option because many people will know me, I decided to travel to Imo state.
Sarah pleaded with me to stay with her but i don’t wanna implicate her because of my bad ome.
Thank God I had some money in my account from the monthly allowance pastor Dayo was paying us back then.
I rented small apartment in Imo state that worth thirty-six thousand naira and i still have change in my account.
I bought some cooking utensils and started managing myself, I don’t come out of my room, crying never lack by my side.
One afternoon as i was crying the same voice came again and asked me to go out and look for a job, I never doubt the voice and i obeyed it as usual.
I left my room and dashed down the street, God helped and i got a teaching work that they promised to be paying me thirty thousand naira.
I resumed the work the next day, since teaching was all i prayed for since I put all my effort in them and the pupils loved me so dearly.
They always obeys me, some parents sent gifts to me and I became happy again.
My pregnancy was 7months gone but some people won’t know because I was so slim.
