Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of Bayern Munich, has stated that he is "not concerned" despite losing their star striker Robert Lewandowski.

The 33-year-old, who led all players in Europe's top five leagues with 50 goals scored last season, pushed for a transfer away from the Allianz Arena with one year left on his contract. On Saturday, Barcelona fulfilled his wish, giving him his 50th goal of the season.

Nagelsmann seems unconcerned about having the option to replace the potent charm, even if the total cost is reportedly going to be €50 million when extra items are included.

"Robert Lewandowski spent eight incredible years with Bayern. To replace him would be a serious challenge, he told BR24.

"I'm not stressed right now; we are so excellent that I'm truly at a loss for what to do.

We can still develop FC Bayern without a striker who can consistently score 40 goals.

It's an exciting project for me, my coaching staff, and Oliver Kahn, the CEO, as well as Hasan Salihamidzic, the sporting director.

Sadio Mane of Liverpool has been avidly targeted by Bayern, and recent additions from Ajax include right-back Noussair Mazraoui and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

Nagelsmann actually has a variety of striker options at his disposal after Serge Gnabry signed another agreement with the Bundesliga winners on Saturday.

While Joshua Zirkzee and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who combined for 18 goals in 47 games played on loan at Anderlecht last season, and novice Mane, who frequently played for Liverpool through the heart of the attack last season, remain at the club.

Nagelsmann continued, "With Sadio Mane, we marked a player who played a great lot as focus forward for Liverpool last season, who is an alternative sort of player to Lewy, not an exceptional striker.

But we also have a lot of labor force to play with two emphasis advances, I suppose.
