We should join emphatically behind new public leaders to break the eight - Akufo-Addo
Ghana's President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has approached individuals from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to mobilize behind the party's recently chosen chiefs.
As per him, this will help the party in the forthcoming general political decision.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, he expressed that the solidarity of the party is fundamental for its prosperity, in this way all individuals should join to construct a bound together front to hold power in 2024.
"We have chosen a group of Officers with a profound connection to the immortal qualities and standards of the Party and its practice, and who will direct issues of the party for the following four years. They are the public face and voice of our Party, and they will establish the vibe and the speed of our political race in 2024.
As I demonstrated on Saturday, the NPP is at its best when we are joined together and working as an engaged substance. I, accordingly, encourage all in the NPP to join firmly behind our new public officials, for it is exclusively by cooperating that we would be able "Break the Eight", and assist with conveying progress and thriving to the Ghanaian public", the President said.
While charging the majority of the party to stay joined together, he additionally jumping all over the chance to praise the new yield of chiefs who arose successful in Saturday's surveys.

In the interim, the recently chosen National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim has offered thanks to all party reliable for choosing him for lead the party for the following four years.
Tending to party individuals after he and other National Executive officials were sworn into office, Mr Ntim said "following twenty years of meandering in the wild prior to getting this far, I will appreciate the chairmanship position, I will esteem the chairmanship position and I will ensure that it stays fortunate".
He guaranteed that as the new party Chairman, he and his partners "will turn out indefatigably for the party to win political race 2024".
Mr Ntim surveyed 4,014 votes to beat his competitors.
