My roommate, Kofo, Is weird.
When I first got into my hostel, I met her, she just moved in too.
Kofo was the silent type, she doesn't talk much. When I talk to her, she just smiles and nods.
At first I thought she was dúmb since she never uttered any word before, not even a simple 'Good Morning'
I began to notice some weird things after some weeks passed.
Kofo never go to class, she would always stay indoors.
Most of the time, she talks to herself when she sleeps and cries too.
She creeps me out a lot.
There was a time I had touched her a d I felt something weird happen to me. When I touched her, her body was extremely cold that I shivered instantly.
Was she sick?
Things were odd with her, I just wasn't comfortable with her.
One day, I came home and she wasn't home. First time I didn't meet her at home in months.
For a few days, she never came and that made me feel happy, Maybe she was gone for good.
I went on tweeter and tweeted 'Finally, My roommate, Kofo Adams is gone'. Few hours later, I got dozens of comments but one caught my attention.
'Kofo Adams? That reminds me of my roommate who hanged herself in the hostel 10 years ago. That was in UNN, room 4'
There was something odd that made me panic, I'm in UNN and my room number is 4. Maybe it was coincidence.
I requested for a picture of her and she mailed it. It was Kofo, smiling innocently with the girl. She looked exactly the same.
Kofo is déad? Have I been living with a ghost for a while?
Night came, I was still pondering on it when I heard a knock on the door.
"Dera, Open up. It is me Kofo Adams"
