Chelsea is leading the KOUNDE race.

According to Spanish media, the Blues are still ahead of Barcelona in the race to sign Kounde, despite Xavi's efforts to persuade the French international to change his mind and join him at the Camp Nou.

So far, the Catalan club has signed Franck Kessie, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski, with Kounde being the next big target of their summer spending spree. However, this contradicts their interest in Alonso and Azpilicueta, both of whom will demand first-team football if they leave the Blues.

Chelsea has made a £40 million bid for PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe.

Chelsea have made a £40 million bid for PSG centre-back Presnel Kimpembe and are in talks with Sevilla about Jules Kounde, who is also wanted by Barcelona. Thomas Tuchel is looking to strengthen his defence this summer and has turned to the French centre-back after signing Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli. PSG is thought to be willing to sell Kimpembe for somewhere around £42 million. Juventus are also in talks with the Ligue 1 champions about signing the 26-year-old French international. He had previously worked with Thomas Tuchel during the German's two-and-a-half-year tenure as manager of the Parc des Princes.

Following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, as well as Cesar Azpilicueta, Tuchel is in need of center-back reinforcements. Kimpembe has spent his entire career at PSG, having joined at the age of nine and appearing in 221 games for the club.

Paulo Dybala's move to Roma is DONE.

Paulo Dybala's move to Roma has reportedly been completed, with the former Juventus forward signing a three-year contract. After leaving Juventus as a free agent at the end of last month, the Italian capital-based club was in a three-way battle with Napoli and Inter Milan to secure his services. However, Sky Sport Italia claims that Roma have won the race and that the Argentine international will sign a contract with the Stadio Olimpico worth £5 million (€6 million) per year plus bonuses until 2025. That conversation appears to have been crucial for Dybala, as Mourinho explained Roma's project to him, with the final signature now the only thing missing.

Bayern Munich has agreed to pay Juventus €80 million for Matthijs de Ligt.

Bayern Munich and Juventus have reached an agreement for the transfer of Dutch centre back Matthijs de Ligt. De Ligt joined the Italian giants in 2019 after starring in Ajax's run to the Champions League semi-finals, and while he started behind Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci at first, he quickly established himself in the starting XI and impressed.

We understand the two parties have reached an agreement, with Bayern potentially paying €80 million—€70 million guaranteed and €10 million in add-ons—to sign the 22-year-old. De Ligt has already agreed to a five-year contract, so all that remains is a medical and official confirmation. De Ligt will leave Juventus after three seasons in which he made 177 appearances and scored eight goals. He won the Serie A title in 2019/20, but he has been part of a Juve team that has declined in recent years, falling behind AC Milan and Inter
