Jose Mourinho has revealed the tattoo he will have to honor his historic European victory with Roma last season. After leading Roma to the first-ever Europa Conference League last season, the renowned Portuguese manager became the first manager to win all three UEFA tournaments.
The Special One has now won all three continental cup competitions when the Giallorossi defeated Feyenoord 1-0 in the inaugural Europa Conference League final. When Mourinho won the UEFA Cup and Champions League with Porto in back-to-back seasons, he became known as an expert in Europe.
After that, he transferred to Chelsea, where he continued to rule English football but was unable to bring home a European Cup for Stamford Bridge. But after transferring to Inter Milan, he immediately led them to the 2010 European Championship, defeating Bayern Munich.
His stint with Real Madrid came to an end without him adding any victories in UEFA tournaments, but in 2016–17, he won the Europa League with Manchester United. Mourinho completed the collection and returned to the winners' circle in just his first season with Roma, making him the first manager to accomplish the feat.
The 59-year-old has since informed his social media followers that he has decided to honor his most recent success by posting a photograph of all three trophies beside the badges of the teams he won them with.
Mourinho posted a photo of his tattoo on Instagram with the caption, "This is my tattoo."
"I did it because it made the Roman people happy." I then considered doing something unique in honor of all the clubs where I had won European competitions. At the same time, I desired a special tattoo that only I could get at this time.
"Alberto presented me with some ideas; I only tweaked a few things. Here is my body art.
After his current side won the final in Tirana, Mourinho was visibly moved and acknowledged that it was special to win another title with what he believed was a team that wasn't anticipated to contend for honors.
Apart from winning the Europa League with Manchester United, Mourinho remarked, "the great thing about my career is that doing it with Porto, Inter, and Roma is very, very, special
