Since then Bale has assisted Wales with procuring their first World Cup billet since 1958 with a triumph over Ukraine in the intercontinental season finisher in June.
He signed with LAFC on June 27, two weeks after veteran Italy and Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini reported he was moving to the club.

Chiellini also made his MLS debut on Sunday, playing the first an hour.

Both Bale and Chiellini said the intensity and mugginess in Nashville - - a component in numerous MLS venues in a standard season played in the summer months - - was something they'll need to adjust to.
"The stickiness was extremely challenging even in the warm up," Bale said. "It's something I'm not used to.
"In any case, these are the challenges that we as a whole need to manage and we need to push through and do what we need to for the group."
Chiellini said he expected his first match in almost a month to be a physical test.
"Be that as it may, I felt better moment by minute," he said.

Cifuentes snatched the go on goal in the first moment of the second half.

However, Mukhtar changed over from the spot in the 43rd after VAR decided Ilie Sanchez pulled down C.J. Sapong in the case.
With his first MLS activity added to his repertoire, Bale said, it's currently a question of acquiring knowledge of his teammates and working on his own fitness.
"It will require a little investment to become acclimated to everything except I'm very switched on in conditions of football so I'm ready to find a workable pace pretty fast.
"Presently it's just essential to attempt to get some minutes, attempt and get as fit as possible as speedy as possible."
