FAYEMI CANCELS ARRANGEMENT OF POLITICAL COUNSELS

Lead representative kayodefayemi de Ekiti has cancelled the arrangement of his political counsels successful July 31.

The Nigerian News Agency NAN) reports that Mr. Fayemi's term lapses on October 15.

 

Ekiti Governor-choose Biodun Oyebanji, an All Progressives APC Congress applicant, was proclaimed the victor of the gubernatorial political decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on June 19.

 

Mr. Oyebanji got 187,057 votes to win the political decision and was proclaimed the victor by Oyebode Adebowale, the INEC scrutineer, having agreed with the prerequisites of the law.

 

He crushed his nearest competitor and previous lead representative, Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) applicant, who scored 82, 211, to come in runner up.

 

Toward the finish of the all out vote count, Mr. Oyebanji won his adversaries in 15 of the state's 16 neighborhood government regions, an uncontested 94 percent of the state by larger part, while Mr. Kolawole of the People's Democratic Party, PDP won just a single nearby government, which is the Efon Alaye Local Government Area.
