A few occupants of Ogome, a local area in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region, are blaming the tactical separation for helping the Electricity Company of Ghana (EC) in attacking them for having a problem with the continuous Prepaid Meter Installation in the Krobo territory.
The inhabitants claim that the tactical who visited the local area with staff of the ECG to strongly introduce prepaid meters at Ogome mercilessly oppressed an individuals from the local area to beatings after they addressed why the activity was all the while progressing in spite of a parliamentary order for the prepaid meter establishment exercise to be stopped.
The people in question, including a lady, had noticeable signs of injuries all around her body.
A portion of the casualties addressed Citi News. "The military came in with staff of the ECG to introduce prepaid meters strongly. We asked them for what good reason they had come, since the activity had been ended. I figure the inquiry didn't go down well with them. They leaped to attack us," an inhabitant shared.

Another occupant said, I don't comprehend what is happening any longer. Are these officials exempt from the laws that apply to everyone else? How might they oppose a parliamentary mandate to do as they will, and beat us ready for scrutinizing their activities?
In the mean time, endeavors to arrive at the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly for a reaction have not yielded results but rather Citi News can affirm that a group from the Electricity Company of Ghana, Tema Region is headed to Somanya to start their own examinations.
