Ghana Black Princesses are preparing for the 2022, FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica and they will be playing several friendly matches in Europe before flying to the South American country for the World Cup.
In the Black Princesses team’s build-up in Accra over the last two weeks, One of their foreign-based players, Sharon Esinam Sampson has been turning heads in the camp with her great looks and excellent skills.
Esinam is the tallest player in the team (1.72 metres), Esinam’s striking figure easily catches one’s eye and it comes as no surprise that, she is making waves in the media also because she combines soccer with modelling.
Born in the northern region Tamale but raised in Sweden, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder, played for Swedish sides “Telge United Södertälje FK, Hammarby IF and Assyriska FF”.
At the present time, she is studying at Oakland University in Michigan, USA, and is a very key player for the school team that is Golden Grizzlies.
Esinam’s first played for the Princesses 2 years ago in an international friendly against Morocco, but this time she is relishing the opportunity to represent the motherland Ghana at the August 10 to 28 tournament, where the Princesses, have been pooled with Japan, the Netherlands, and USA in Group D.
In high school in Sweden, Esinam was signed to FYE Management, a Stockholm-based inclusive modelling and Creative Agency, as a fashion model.

The Black Galaxies of Ghana, wrapped up their preparations ahead of the “CHAN” qualifier with a 2-1 win against Kenpong Academy on Sunday afternoon at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.
Black Galaxies Coach, Annor Walker’s side have been preparing ahead of the double-header against Benin in the preliminary round of the CHAN qualifiers.
Great Olympics forward Maxwell Abbey Quaye, scored the first goal of the game before Suraj Seidu doubled the lead for the home based national team players.
The Black Galaxies went into the break with a 2 goal lead.
After recess, Kenpong Academy escalated their effort and got a consolation goal through Sebastien Abekah.
It was a very good exercise for the Black Galaxies as they prepare to host their opponents in a week’s time at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Black Galaxies have failed to qualify for the CHAN tournament in the last three editions. The Black Galaxies have been knocked out from the tournament by Burkina Faso in the last two editions.
The winner of this match will face Nigeria in the final qualifying round.
