The US-based IT-giant neglected to erase data restricted in Russia briefly time, court finds
Russia's court has fined American tech giant Google in excess of 21 billion rubles ($366 million) on Monday, for its inability to erase precluded data on the contention in Ukraine, RIA Novosti has revealed from the court.
Moscow's Tagansky District Court has slapped a turnover-based fine on the IT-organization for its rehashed refusal to erase data restricted by Russian regulation. Last December, the Silicon Valley firm was hit with a fine of 7.2 billion rubles (around $98.1 million) for neglecting to bring down restricted content, which was whenever that an IT first organization had been fined in Russia with a punishment connected to its profit.
