Former Manchester City defender, Nedum Onuoha, has urged his old club and manager, Pep Guardiola, not to sign Brazilian forward, Neymar.
Onouha believes Guardiola and Man City do not need Neymar at the Etihad because they already have Jack Grealish and Phil Foden in the squad.
According to him, if Neymar joins Man City, he will stop Grealish and Foden’s development at the Citizens.
Neymar has been linked with a move away from PSG this summer.
PSG are open to offloading the 30-year-old, with Man City and Chelsea linked to signing the former Barcelona star.
When asked if he liked the idea of Neymar moving to Man City, Onuoha told ESPN FC: “No. But it’s not because he’s not a good player. I think they don’t need him.
“Especially if he will be playing on the left. You’ve got Jack Grealish there, Phil Foden as well.”
He added, “To bring someone in, who would stunt the development of those two players, it doesn’t seem to add up.
“I don’t see it being a good move. It’s a no-go for me.”
