Ghanaian forward Joel Fameyeh scored a brace for Rubin Kazan FC in their 2-0 win against Rodina Moscow, on Sunday in the first round of the Russian FNL.
Joel Fameyeh got his first goal of the season for Kazan in the 44th minute via the penalty spot.
The former Asokwa Deportivo striker netted the second goal of the game in the 52nd minute which sealed the win for Rubin Kazan.
Fameyeh over the past two seasons has demonstrated that, He is one of the most profilic forwards in the Russian football.
He scored 12 goals in 15 matches in his last two campaigns in the Russian 1st division.
The Black Stars forward, signed a 3-year deal with the relegated side from newly promoted Russian club Orenburg FC.
The former Asokwa Deportivo star played a very key role as Fc Orenburg secured promotion through playoffs, but he decided to not extend his stay.
His contract with Orenburg expires on June, 30. He joined Rubin Kazan on a free transfer.
Joel Fameyeh is expected to help Rubin Kazan make a quick return to the topflight, following His experience in the second tier.

Ghana attacker Emmanuel Gyasi continued his good run of form in pre-season after netting his second goal in the thrashing of lower-tier side ASV Stegen.
The Spezia forward scored his side's second in the 8-0 thumping of Stegen at the weekend.
Kevin Agudelo broke the game's deadlock in the 15th minute, before E. Gyasi doubled the lead two minutes later. Agudelo scored his second a minute later.
David Strelec Extended the lead before the break, before adding a 2nd half hattrick. Ognjen Stijepovi? was the other scorer in the Second half.
Gyasi is preparing for his third season in the Italian topflight league, with the Eagles.
