Journalist Discusses What He Heard Spurs Might Do After Signing Spence: "YOU CAN'T RULE OUT THE IDEA"
As Tottenham nears their sixth acquisition of the summer, Dean Jones has been talking about their transfer ambitions on The Done Deal Show.
After months of rumors, Spurs finally appear to be close to signing Middlesbrough's Djed Spence, and according to Jones, Tottenham had intended to seek six players this summer for six positions.
The final position on Spurs' shopping list is going to be checked off, but the journalist believes that Spurs may not yet be done.
Jones actually claims that Tottenham might return to the market at the end of the summer to sign a star player.

Jones discussed the ambitions the Spurs have for Spence.
"It's important to note that Tottenham had six objectives and vital positions that they wanted to secure, with Djed Spence being the sixth. That is their main business completed, and I was always informed that once it is, it is possible that a few high-end signings take place at the back of the window. At the end of the window, Tottenham is typically active in that market, according to Jones.

Depay or a creative midfielder?
A new creative midfielder may be the luxury signing Tottenham is considering.
Spurs have undoubtedly strengthened their midfield this summer by bringing in Yves Bissouma,But a creative midfielder may be on the horizon given past links to players like Christian Eriksen.
Another choice for Spurs would be to strengthen their attack even more. If they decide to do so, Memphis Depay is one forward they might consider adding to their squad.
This summer, the north Londoners have been frequently associated with Depay, and Fabio Paratici is allegedly a great fan.
