Mrs Asonye was coming back from the market where she had gone to buy her cream when she saw charity sitting outside crying
"Charity"Mrs Asonye called
"Mama"charity replied crying
"What is it? Why are you crying?"Mrs Asonye asked
"Priya is dead"charity announced
"What do you mean?"Mrs Asonye asked
"Priya is dead"Charity said
"What happened?"Mrs Asonye asked her heart beating fast
"She came back from school and slumped"Charity said,her eyes were red
"Where is Steve?"Mrs Asonye asked
"He is coming"charity said
Just then Steve drove in,he parked his car and came down
"Charity what were you saying on the phone,I couldn't just understand"Steve said
"Priya is dead"Charity said"my pro pri is dead"
"Where is she?"Steve asked
"In her room"charity said
Steve rushed into the room,Mrs Asonye followed quickly, charity stood up from where she was sitting and followed them
When Steve and Mrs Asonye got to Priya's room,they met Priya lying on the bed lifeless and cold
"Pri"Steve said shaking her
Priya's body moved with ease as there was no life in it
"Priya"Steve called with a loud voice as tears rushed out of his eyes as he shaked Priya
Mrs Asonye stood speechless,she didn't know what next to do
"This cannot be"Mrs Asonye said
Just then she woke up,it was just a dream
She stood up from her bed and rushed out of her room and ran to Priya's room
Immediately she got there,she switched on the light rushed to Priya's bed and put her hands close to Priya's nostrils to check if Priya was breathing
She was relieved when Priya moved
"Kai thank God it was all a dream,but which kind nonesense dream is this?"Mrs Asonye asked"I better tell Steve"
Mrs Asonye rushed out of the room,she walked to Steve room
When she got to the door,she knocked loud waking Steve and charity
"Who is that?"Steve asked
"It me"Mrs Asonye said
"Mum what is it?"Steve asked
"Meet me in the sitting room I have something to discuss with you"Mrs Asonye said and walked to the sitting room
"Who knows why she's calling me"Steve murmured standing up from the bed
"Go and answer her,she must have a good reason to wake you up in the middle of the night"charity said
"Let me go and see"Steve said and walked to the door, unlocked the door and opened it and walked out of the room, Chinyere continued sleeping
When Steve got to the sitting room,he met his mother sitting down on the couch thinking
Steve shrugged and sat on the couch
"Mum what Is it?" Steve asked
"Steve I had a very bad dream"Mrs Asonye said
"What happened?"Steve asked frowning
"I had a dream where I saw Priya dead"Mrs Asonye said
Steve was shocked,he remembered what the pastor has said
"Go in peace and please pray for your daughter,the Lord revealed to me that something bad is about to befall her...."The pastor's voice echoed in Steve's ear
"Steve my fear is that something bad is about happening to Priya,I don't have dreams anyhow,this type of dream happened before your father died,I had a dream where I saw them burying him and I didn't take it serious until it happened, Steve am afraid oo,I don't want anything to happen to my granddaughter"Mrs Asonye said
"Hmm mum this is the same thing a pastor told us yesterday,he told us something bad Is about to befall Priya,he even adviced I and Charity to go on fasting"Steve said
"Abeg go on fasting,I will join you people"Mrs Asonye said"I don't want anything to happen to Priya"
"I just pray nothing happens to her"Steve said
Just then they heard Priya cough,Mrs Asonye stood up and rushed to Priya's room,Steve followed
When they got to the room,they met Priya sleeping soundly on her bed
"Steve you know what go back to bed,I'll stay here and watch her"Mrs Asonye said
"Ok mum"Steve said and looked at Priya again and walked away of the room
Mrs Asonye laid on the bed and began a silent prayer binding any spirit of death

"So what did your mum tell you?"charity asked later in the morning as she dressed up
"She said she had a very bad dream where Priya died"Steve said wearing his suit"it even made me more scared"
"Hmm na wa oo,abeg nothing should happen to my pri"charity said"I hope it's not this Amara that is planning to kill Priya cause if she's the one,I will butcher her"
"What we need now is not physical combat,we need prayers"steve said
"Ya I know"charity said"let's begin the fasting today"
"Alright if you say so"Steve said
Just then Charity's phone rang, charity went to check the. Caller,it was Anike,she picked it
"Hello"charity said
"Sister mi good morning"Anike said"I have gotten the truck driver,it's price we are negotiating,that's why I called you"
"Give him the phone"charity said
Anike put her phone on loud speaker and gave it to the truck driver,Alani
"Hello"Alani said.
"Good morning"charity said
"Good morning"Alani said
"So how much are you charging?"Charity asked
"For a full day,I go collect like 40k, Anike tell me say na clothes you wan transport,so 40k go de ok,I suppose collect more sef,but na because Anike na my good friend na why I drop price"Alani said
"Ok"charity said"I agree by the price,hope your truck is neat?"
"Ahh very neat"Alani said
"Ok tell Anike to direct you to my house,I'll be waiting for you people"Charity said"give the phone to Anike"
Alani gave the phone back to Anike
"Anike bring him to my house,I'll be waiting"charity said
"Ok and ma, am coming with two girls,they want to be your sales girls"Anike said
"Alright bring them along"Charity said
"Ok sister mi"Anike said
Charity cut the call
"Who was that?"Steve asked
"Anike"charity said"she was telling me that she has gotten a truck driver and two sales girls"
"Oh that's a big progress''steve said
"Yap,after arranging the boutique,I'll go to the salon and cut my hair"charity said
"Ok so that means I'll have to drop Priya today?"Steve asked
"Yap"Charity said
"Alright"Steve said"emm baby can you help me knot my tie?"
"Sure"charity said with a smile as she walked close to Steve to help him knot his tie
After knotting his tie,she handed him his briefcase and then they kissed and Steve walked out of the room
Charity continued dressing up,when she finished she went to the window,she watched Steve and Priya enter the car,then she watched Steve drive away
Then she sat on the bed and used her hand to feel her breasts,they were swollen
The first thing that came to Charity's mind was pregnancy
"Hmm hope am pregnant?"charity asked herself
She decided to keep calm and wait till the day she was expected to see her period,if she didn't see she would then know that she was pregnant

"Chi"Beatrice called as she entered the kitchen holding Chinyere's phone
"Yes"Chinyere answered as she drank water
"Your phone is ringing"Beatrice said
"Who is calling?"Chinyere asked
"Moses"Beatrice said
"Just cut it"Chinyere said
"Why?"Beatrice asked
"Nothing"Chinyere said and collected her phone from Beatrice
"See chi this guy loves you,if he doesn't he would have totally forgotten you after all his mother said"Beatrice said
"See Beatrice the relationship between I and Moses isn't going to work out and by the way I don't want him to die, maybe it's not my destiny to get marry,maybe my destiny to become a single mum or maybe a sugar mummy"Chinyere said
"Haba which kind take is that?"Beatrice asked
"See I have engaged up to 4 times and they all died,I don't want the spirit that is following me to kill Moses,let me focus on my career,make money,get a young guy that will be servicing me, at Least I'll have peace of mind"Chinyere said
"Chi stop saying this"Beatrice said
"That's the truth"Chinyere said
Just then Chinyere's phone rang again,it was Moses,she cut it and put it on airplane mode
"Excuse me"Chinyere said to Beatrice and walked out of the kitchen
