Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, the member of parliament for Techiman South, has confidence in the ability of the newly elected NPP officials to "break the eight."
He contends that the majority of elected individuals had previously held positions on the Executive Council and so has the necessary expertise to successfully lead the party into the future.
He pointed out that their expertise will be especially useful in the elections of 2024, when it will be required to imitate some of the strategies employed in the two previous elections that helped the NPP win and hold onto power.
In response, he responded, "Yes, very much so," on JoyNews' PM Express. Remember that the list of individuals who surfaced is not totally fresh. Rita Asobayire, Nana B, Kate Gyamfua, and more are available. Since the newly elected Youth Organiser was the deputy of the previous Youth Organiser, around 5 members of this squad had previously been on it and have participated in both the 2016 and 2020 victories.
Therefore, they are those who have contributed to the team's success. Stephen Nti, the newly elected Chairman, is not wholly new. Don't forget that he previously served as our party's vice chairman, giving him considerable experience before joining the team.
"So for me, you have around six people who have been crucial to our team's success in winning two elections in a row. That shouldn't be too challenging for us.
Regarding the new officials, he pointed out that the new perspectives they bring to the table would be useful in fine-tuning the party's strategy to accomplish its goal by 2024.
In general, he added, "I think that yeah, we are fine to go, the reflection of this election or the outcome is great." "Of course, there are new individuals that come on board with different components of what we want to achieve," he continued.
Even while there was some regional balance in the executives' makeup, Mr. Korsah said he was still optimistic that areas without representation among the elected leaders would be appointed.
He claimed that this would give the party a broad perspective.
"If you look at the balance order that was mentioned, Western North, Western Region, and Greater Accra are not there, in my opinion. Numerous appointments are available to us, and they ought to be able to fill in these gaps. Overall, every area will be represented, and I think it will be beneficial for our march toward 2024," he added.
