Breaking News;Star Set To Complete Medical Tests At London Amid Transfer Move To EPL Club

Djed Spence is ready to start a new chapter in Premier League after impressive performance on loan at Nottingham Forest in the Championship last season, helping them to the Premier League, but has now joined Tottenham in a deal that could rise to £20m with add-ons; Spence has signed a five year contract through June 2027, Spence has completed his medical test, and Tottenham set to pay £12.5 plus £7.4 depending on his performance.Luis Suarez, a Colombian striker who was previously with Granada, has been confirmed as another signing by Marseille. The two parties have verbally agreed to the terms of the deal, and Luis is expected to finalize his move to Marseille once he passes the required medical exams as scheduled by the team. An official announcement is expected to be made later this week. This summer, Victor Osimhen was heavily linked to a transfer to the Premier League, with Arsenal leading the race to sign him. However, the deal fell through after Gabriel Jesus arrived, and the director of Napoli has now spoken out about the player because Bayern Munich has not made an official offer.

Barcelona-bound Lewandowski outscored Messi, Ronaldo during his 8 years at Bayern Munich

Lewy also scored more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo while he was a member of Bayern Munich for eight years. During that time, Ronaldo scored 323 club goals for Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United combined.

Between 2014 and 2022, however, Ronaldo also scored more goals in the Champions League (73) than Lewandowski (69) or Messi (58), becoming the competition's all-time leading scorer while assisting Real Madrid in capturing three straight European Championships.

Lewandowski and Messi both won one Champions League title during that span, with the former's 15 goals in Bayern's successful 2019–20 season ranking joint–third among all time single-season totals in the history of the league (Ronaldo, naturally, occupies all three places on the podium).Lewandowski's achievement is all the more remarkable given that Bayern played four fewer league games each season in the 18-team Bundesliga than any of Messi's or Ronaldo's teams did in any of the top five leagues in Europe. During that time, Lewandowski also managed to score more goals than either of the two players who shared the Ballon d'Or exclusively between them.

In his first season with Bayern, Lewandowski scored 25 goals in all competitions, which would end up being his lowest total for a single season. The Polish international never once had a season with fewer than 40 goals in the next seven seasons.Even better, he twice surpassed the 50-goal mark, reaching his career high of 55 goals in 47 games in 2019–20 before breaking the mark again in his final season in Germany in 2021–22 with 50 goals in 46 games.

It's hardly surprising that Lewandowski can claim to have won the Bundesliga championship in each of his eight seasons with the club, as well as 19 other trophies, given the prodigious output that helped Bayern dominate Germany.

Whatever financial juggling Barca had to do to come up with the original €45 million fee to sign Lewandowski, if they can maintain that level of performance from him during the duration of his deal, it will be worth every penny.
