Inaki Williams needs to deal with his objective scoring - Ernesto Valderde
Athletic Bilbao chief Ernesto Valverde has encouraged Inaki Williams to chip away at his objective scoring to work on his numbers front and center.
Williams has been with the Basque club for very nearly 10 years and has been the group's fundamental striker in ongoing seasons.
Last season, Williams scored eight objectives in 38 association matches and, the season previously, he got only multiple times for Athletic Bilbao in the association.
Valverde accepts the striker can offer more because of his adaptability and, thusly, needs him to work on his numbers before objective.
"All things considered, he has been playing as a middle forward recently. He can play both there and on the flank and during the pre-season we will test the two positions," the Athletic Bilbao supervisor said at a public interview, as cited by Footballghana.
"He is a player who delivers a ton and afterward we maintain that he should continuously be more exact before objective.
"I think he needs to chip away at that, he's dealing with it and we will check whether we can inspire him to expand his numbers."
In the mean time, Williams as of late changed ethnicity to play for Ghana and is supposed to address the Black Stars at the Qatar 2022 World Cup in the not so distant future.
