Cheyenne Parker coordinated her season high with 21 places and snatched 11 bounce back, Tiffany Hayes added 16 focuses, seven bounce back and six helps and the Atlanta Dream beat the Phoenix Mercury 85-75 on Sunday.
 
Sophie Cunningham hit a 3-pointer with 5:39 passed on in the final quarter to give Phoenix a 73-70 lead yet Erica Wheeler replied with consecutive 3s and Hayes made a floater to make 78-73 and the Dream drove the remainder of the way. The Mercury went 1 for 7 from the field and serious three turnovers over the last 5 or more minutes.
 
Wheeler added 14 focuses, seven bounce back, and seven helps for Atlanta (11-14) and AD Durr hit 4 of 5 from 3-point range and wrapped up with 12 places.
 
Rhyne Howard (right shoulder), Nia Coffey (right knee), and Monique Billings (right lower leg) didn't play for the Dream. Howard, the No. 1 by and large pick in April's draft, is the group's driving scorer (14.7 per game) and Billings drives Atlanta in bouncing back (6.2 per game).
 
The Dream snapped a three-game long string of failures and won for only the third time in their last nine games.
 
Diana Taurasi drove Phoenix (11-16) with 23 places and Skylar Diggins-Smith scored 14, however the team consolidated to make only 12 of 36 from the field and 2 of 15 from 3-point range. Shey Peddy attached her season high with 16 places, snatched six bounce back, and had five helps. Cunningham wrapped up with 11 places and a vocation high nine bounce back.
 
Precious stone DeShields (hip) didn't play for the Mercury.
