More than 60 SBU and Prosecutors Office staff are obviously being scrutinized for joint effort with the Russian Federation, inciting the firing of the two previously mentioned authorities.
Ivan Bakanov, the head of Ukraine's Security Service and Iryna Venediktova, the Prosecutor General have been excused from their posts, per orders from the President of Ukraine.
The messages read:
"On the expulsion of I. Bakanov from the obligations of the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine:
According to Article 47 of the Disciplinary Statute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supported by the Law of Ukraine dated March 24, 1999 No. 551-XIV, eliminate Ivan Gennadiyovych BAKANOV from the obligations of the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
He has been the SBU Chief since August of 2019. Article 47 peruses: "Disappointment (ill-advised execution) of true obligations, which prompted human setbacks or other grave outcomes or made a danger of such results, is justification for eliminating such a serviceman from the presentation of true obligations."
Also, for Venediktova:
"On expulsion from the place of the Prosecutor General
As per the second piece of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Regime of Martial Law", I order:
Eliminate VENEDIKTOVA Iryna Valentinivna from the post of Prosecutor General
