The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has issued notices to ten street preachers and five people selling products over public address systems in the Central Business District (CBD) for operating without a permit and making noise in violation of the AMA Abatement of Noise Bye-Law 2017.
The notices were issued by Assembly Public Health Officers on Friday, July 15, 2022, when they stormed the CBD to enforce the Abatement of Noise Bye-Law.

Road builders have begun work on the main highway at Suame in the Ashanti Region's Kumasi Metropolitan District.
Residents of the constituency hooted and pelted sachet water at their Member of Parliament and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, for failing to get the road fixed despite representing them for over 20 years.
A video obtained by GhanaWeb showed road contractors working on the road with at least three construction vehicles, including a bobcat, a dump truck, and a water sprinkling truck.
The person who took the video can be heard saying that a miracle is taking place because the road is finally being repaired.
"We've noticed workers trying to do something on the road all of a sudden." It's been an eventful day here at the Suame Constituency... Workers are now attempting to resolve the situation," he explained.
On Monday, July 18, 2022, some artisans at Suame Magazine in the Suame Municipality of the Ashanti Region hooted and pelted sachet water at their Member of Parliament over the poor state of roads in the Constituency.

When the MP arrived, the enraged artisans thronged the highway and began hooting at him and pelting him with water sachets.
They also blocked some roads in videos sighted by GhanaWeb.
According to the MCE, the MP managed to make it to a meeting point where he met with leaders of the workers’ groups and explained to them what was being done to address their concerns
