Bayern Munich have signed Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus on an arrangement until 2027, the German Bundesliga champions said on Tuesday.
Juve said the middle back was signed for an expense of 67 million euros ($68.55 million), rising up by a potential 10 million euros based on execution related bonuses.
"De Ligt was a top objective for us. With signings like this, the large aims that we have are reachable," Bayern president Herbert Hainer said in a statement.
"The future substance of our group is increasingly coming to fruition, and this transfer is a significant structure block in the general idea that we're bit by bit establishing. De Ligt should turn into a mainstay at FC Bayern."
De Ligt joined Juve in 2019 following his job in assisting Ajax Amsterdam with arriving at a far-fetched Champions League semifinal.
