In a recent video, claims that Jurrien Timber and Lisandro Martinez "ruled" Erling Haaland in the Champions League have been "revealed."

Ajax and Borussia Dortmund were placed in Group C in the previous year, and the Dutch team came out on top in both contests, 4-0 and 3-1, respectively.

The world's most exciting forward, Dortmund's Haaland, was held in check by center backs Martinez and Timber in both games despite the fact that he failed to score.

Haaland and Martinez will compete in the Premier League after Martinez transferred to Manchester United and Haaland to Manchester City, respectively.

Martinez's height of 5' 9" has been a topic of discussion, and many people used his displays versus Haaland to allay concerns.

On Twitter, @erikelias_ contends that the 21-year-old was not "completely shut down," and he provides supporting data.

The videos are from the 4-0 and Haaland had several chances. Just two minutes into the second half, he escaped Martinez and produced three chances for himself before rattling the crossbar.

Despite stopping the Norway international with some skill, Dortmund lost both games and unexpectedly dropped into the Europa League. Goalkeeper Remko Pasveer was outstanding.

Supporters now have some new ideas to consider moving into the next election.

"I don't see anyone shutting down Haaland except than the goalie having a belter," one individual stated.

Another user posted, "This completely changes the story."

"Haaland is going to tear this league apart," a third remarked.

Every shot was on target, and he wasn't at all shut down, someone wrote.

Martinez, a player for Argentina and known as "The Butcher," will be excited to face some of the top players in English football.

Currently on these shores is his toughest adversary. The 24-year-old described Liverpool star Roberto Firmino as a "very difficult" player to mark in an interview with Ole.

He stated, "I had to play against Firmino in Europe.

And because he frequently shifts positions, he is an extremely challenging striker to mark.

"That creates uncertainty, you lose the reference," Martinez continued. He often takes you out of your position if you go hunting for him.

Additionally, he is a player with excellent mobility, making it challenging to take the ball away from him while he is on his back. He is excellent.
