Dan-Axel Zagadou, a free agent and former defender for Borussia Dortmund, is said to be of interest to Manchester United.
The Red Devils have reportedly joined Inter Milan in the pursuit of the French center-back, with the club reportedly being'very interested' in signing him. This information comes from the French publication Media Foot Marseille.
The 23-year-career old's in Germany has been rocky because of numerous injuries; as a result, he played in only 15 Bundesliga games last season.
Dortmund did not extend the young player's contract after it expired in June of this year as a result.
Prior to his injury setbacks in the 2021/22 season, the Frenchman had moved from Paris Saint-Germain to the German team in 2017 and had established himself as the defensive anchor for Dortmund.

This season, Manchester United plans to rebuild their team, and they have already signed Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia, and Lisandro Martinez.
Zagadou has the potential to develop into an excellent football player under Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
United has already added a center-back to its roster, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be open to adding another.
Martinez, the newest member of the United team, can also play as a defensive midfielder, which is a position that the Red Devils also lack.
