World Athletics Championships: Alex Amankwah to run in 800m Heat 2 on Thursday
Subsequent to flopping in the 100m and 200m warms, Alex Amankwah is next in line to run Ghana's penultimate track occasion at the 2022 World Athletics Championships.

"[My body] is letting me know it's prepared. I feel fun and just eager to see what's out there. No one can really tell how races go yet it's in every case great when you feel perfect before the race."
Amankwah qualified for the Championships in the wake of running a period of 1:44.97s at the Maryland Qualifier. He likewise made a period of 1:15:88 in 800m at the Penn transfers a month prior and has great searched in preparing as per Team Ghana's mentor, Christian Nsiah.
"He is looking great. I needed to try and ease him off his speed a piece [during the present preparation session] however even that didn't turn out great," Nsiah said.
"He is great so he was running somewhat quicker than the times he should hit by his own mentor. He went somewhat quicker so I think he is prepared and we will perceive the way it goes tomorrow."
Alex Amankwah will race in Heat 2 close by Benjamin Robert of France, England's Kyle Langford and Australia's Peter Bol-Heat two will occur at 12.28am Ghana time.
